Geometric and Fragmentation Effects in Leading Particle Rapidity Distributions for High-energy p-A Collisions

Abstract: Based on the interacting gluon model (IGM), leading particle rapidity distributions for 100 GeV p+Ag collisions are calculated and compared with experimental data. The results are in agreement with data obtained from using a more sophisticated collision geometry and including final-state fragmentation process.
