ELASTIC SCATTERING OF NEAR 1GeV PROTON FROM MEDIUM AND HEAVY NUCLEI

Abstract：
The differential cross sections of the elastic scattering of near 1GeV proton on ^40,42,44,48Ca, ⁴⁸T, ^58,60,62,64Ni, ⁹⁰Zr and ²⁰⁸Pb are calculated by use of the method of the collective coordinate and high energy cluster scattering theory for the Wood-Saxon potential. The results are found to be in a good agreement with experimental data.
